Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can I use this LED strip completely outdoors and in the rain?

Yes, the LED strip itself has an IP67 rating, which means it is completely protected against the ingress of water and dust and can withstand temporary immersion in water. It is ideal for outdoor use, rain and snow. The mains adapter has an IP64 rating, so it must be installed in a dry place or adequately protected from direct heavy rain.

2. How can I shorten the LED strip to the desired length?

The tape can be easily cut with scissors, but only at clearly marked points along the tape. Cutting outside these marks may damage the light source. After cutting, make sure to properly reseal the cut end if the tape will be used in a humid environment.

3. What is the power consumption of this RGB LED strip?

This set is extremely energy efficient. The entire strip consumes only 14W of power (14 kWh consumption per 1000 hours of operation), allowing you to use it for a long time without worrying about high electricity costs, while providing a brightness of 550 lumens.
